Rajasthan Women's Handball Team Secures Silver Medal at Senior Nationals

In a display of skill and resilience, the Rajasthan Women's Handball Team clinched the silver medal at the 52nd Senior Women's National Handball Championship held in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. Despite their valiant efforts, the defending champions faced a formidable challenge from Indian Railways, settling for second place in a hard-fought final match.

The summit clash saw Indian Railways emerging victorious with a scoreline of 22-08, avenging their defeat against Rajasthan in the previous year's final. Despite a spirited performance, Rajasthan succumbed to the relentless attack of the Railways team. At halftime, Railways held a commanding lead of 12-6, ultimately securing the coveted title.

Prior to the final, Rajasthan exhibited stellar performances throughout the tournament, storming into the championship match with victories over formidable opponents. In the semi-finals, they edged past Haryana with a narrow margin of 32-31, showcasing their determination and skill on the court.

In earlier rounds, Rajasthan demonstrated their dominance with convincing wins over Bihar (29-11) and Maharashtra (26-11) in the quarterfinals and pre-quarterfinals, respectively. Their journey to the finals was marked by resilience, teamwork, and strategic gameplay.
